Not sure. I've been through the Queen's Beast series (OP's pic related), and these aren't different enough to pique my interest. I bought the lion (first in series) as is my wont, but the Yale is such a silly animal (second) that I just couldn't. Maybe if there's a unicorn and/or a dragon - those became very popular (read: expensive after mint run was done), and a good speculation buy.

It's a stamp of provenance and a form of assay. It's a way to assure stakeholders that the object is a standard and vetted piece of metal.
One recent oddity was when the 1kg Queen's Beast Completer had a larger face value than the metal content. Someone tested the bank by trying to cash it in (for paper, I assume), and was refused.
