While back in March 2023, everyone thought the opposite

What do you think happens next?

I've been here for 1 year and it's my second dev job. We work at a snails pace, and after a year nothing has been launched. The salary is low (1k USD) and I complete the weekly work in 10-15 hours.

I want to get a job that is equally easy, where I can work from home without a schedule, with few meetings if any, with more complex and fun work (something like game dev, cybersecurity, sysadmin, or even webshit with a more interesting and stale stack like Laravel or Spring and the mess that is NextJS) and with a higher salary.

But I am truly at a crossroads and I don't want to jump ship because the current job is so easy. I really dread the idea of leaving this job and going back to dailies, SCRUM, constant meetings with absolute faggot devs I hate talking to. I just want free time, a laid back job and a better salary.

So should I jump ship now? I have around 1.5 years experience total.
