No. My corporation took out a loan. After a time of being profitable it folded like most corporations. Sadly this resulted in the corporation going bankrupt and the creditor having no recourse.

Now if you'll excuse me I have to go and write off the value of those shares on my taxes for the next 34 years. How unfortunate.

ENFP

I measure my wealth in the quantity of human souls which I hold sway over.

Can I make a living doing nothing but playing the peaks and troughs of the s&p 500?

Just how does one valuate the real price of a share?

I know share valuation methods based off future dividends but that doesn't take into account information/news regarding the business like external factors (Government changing, competitors etc.). Even then, you can check the financial records of a company but what is stopping the Accountant from cooking the books?

Does anyone even know? I mean I've heard professional Wall Street guys can only predict whether a share will go up or down marginally better than a punter.
