Hi guys,

I am noticing a lot of you are starting to post images of how much money you're losing in crypto. I saw one of you down $60,000 -- more than you make in a year at your job.

I am sure you all want to become wealthy through trading and investing, but why do you allow the price to swing that far against you? You are able to control the amount of money you risk through stop losses, technical analysis, position sizing, scaling in... there are a lot of ways to cap your losers at a certain number or certain percentage.

In the bigger trading and investing picture, losses are part of the game and everyone has to deal with them, whether that is stocks, commodities, forex, crypto -- the idea is to have a risk management plan ahead of time so that you know exactly where to get out if the price moves against you.

If you want to make any money in a financial market at all, you have to learn how to manage your risk. You can't put all your eggs in one basket and then hold that basket forever hoping and praying that it will turn into a winner because no one ever knows for sure what a financial instrument is going to do in the future. We can have good ideas, and we can have ideas that have a proven track record, but sometimes it doesn't work out and when it doesn't there is no reason to let your entire account sink to zero because you are too emotionally attached to your trade or investment.

You have to stop blaming the market or market manipulation for your nearly six-figure blow up -- your judgment is clouded by emotion which is going to gimp you from the outset, but you are adding fuel to the fire without a proper risk management plan.

Bros, hang in there. Don't be so hard on yourselves, think positive and keep improving your strategies. Start with some "1-foot putts" before you try "20-foot putts", it will build your confidence and understanding while limiting your losses.

I don't agree with most of what I'm reading in this thread but I don't want to imply the experiences of others aren't real. I believe it's a very personal thing and people feel territorial about it in some way. Think about from where you're strong and start playing from that, try to keep some kind of journal. I don't believe it's ever too late whatever the amount.

ALL YOU LOSERS COULD EASILY MAKE HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS EVERY TRADING DAY ON THE HIGHEST VOLUME, SAFEST, MOST CHEESE-ABLE ASSET IN THE WORLD, BUT NO, YOU CHASE THESE PAJEET-COINS AND NONSENSICAL BULLSHIT.

1. WAIT FOR SLIGHT DIP.
2. BUY THE FUCKING S&P.
3. IF IT DIPS, BUY MORE, IT'S GOING BACK UP. THE WORLD'S BILLIONAIRES REQUIRE IT TO GO UP. BUY. THE. DIPS.

WAIT UNTIL YOU ARE HAPPY WITH YOUR PROFITS, OR UNTIL A PEAK HAPPENS, THEN SELL AND REPEAT THE PROCESS.

EASY, SIMPLE, RATIONAL, LESS RISKY, NOT INSTANT-MILLIONAIRE, BUT WEEKLY THOUSAND-AIRE IS EMINENTLY POSSIBLE AND REASONABLE.

TRY IT. THANK ME LATER.
