We're getting dangerously close to the US debt no longer being in infinite demand. There's a good chance that if Japan/China and the other nations keep choosing not to buy bonds then we'll have to dramatically raise rates to get them to buy

at which point America is no longer the gold standard for riskless investment. They are ringing the alarm bell
