How can people work on a dead end job (id say its most blue collar jobs) and not get deppressed.
i am going to study dentistry but i found out that unless i do things for my own benefit i will be extremly unmotivated to work (by work i dont mean just do X , what i mean is being enthusiastic + putting effort in order for it to come out good) if the harder i work , some one else ripes the benefits ill feel used , a sucker , slave etc.

this led me to leaving a lot of jobs because i felt irritated by all this.
i hope ill manage to get rid of this feeling once i become self-employed.

any wise words on this metter , any one else feels that way?

About to lose my place to live. Self-employed, took a huge loss in terms of work (sub-contractor), my main squeeze dropped me due to government regs in my state. Really struggling hard to get and keep work (google has a stranglehold on small businesses with the SEO barrier now, this is critical for blue collar services), have my resume out now for a 9-5. Is there anybody out there that can help me, I'm desperate and burnt out or I wouldn't be on here. Just trying to keep my head above water until a new employer picks me up and I can climb out of this hole. Very close to homelessness, I do still have my vehicle if anything.
