Henri Poincaré proved it was impossible to know if the orbitals were stable or unstable without knowing initial conditions (and since we have no telescope pics of the solar system before our sun was made, we cannot know :[ )
the proof henri made is still being studied and improved to this very day (because its hard to prove that something cannot be proved, mathematically, unless it can be proven, lol try making sense of that)
