Need advice. I started a federal job last year. Pays well, $115k a year, I'm a senior sysadmin. There's some room to grow if I move into engineering, management, etc. But I'm 36. I don't mind working hard and learning new things but IT was a career change for me at 30 so the last half decade has been grinding and hustling with job hops, certs, etc. I'm not complaining, I'm doing way better than I was before COVID.
But obviously I'd like to make more. So to keep it short:
Besides investing, should I keep working on moving up/job hopping, or should I use my max comfy position to work on some kind of side business, where I can make extra money and keep my current job.
I've been thinking of ecommerce, but have no idea where to start. Um it necessarily looking for explicit i oth advice on what business I should run, more so I'm looking to see if it's even worth it or should I just keep trying to move around to increase pay.
