I work in a warehouse for 31 an hour. Live with my mom paying $700 in rent. 1 bedroom apartments are about 1500 where I live so why pay more for something arguably worse. I save about 55 percent of my pay split between retirement accounts, aftermarket accounts, and high yield savings accounts. I live frugally. My job feels like silver handcuffs. I make just enough to feel good but not enough to ever live a great life. I hate my job, a robot will probably replace my position in 20 years. The only thing decent is I can listen to audio books most of the day.
