It's been making a few 1-2% sat gains and is hitting volumes not seen since the 2017 bull run. I'm considering putting my ETH into it.
It's the one coin I'm almost more interested in holding than BTC because I think it has the potential to outperform a long hold, but development is slow on it.

So I'm going to go in on the 1 BTC.
My question now becomes, do I just sit on the BTC through 202X or do I buy one BTC of altcoins (namely XMR)?
I have no intention of spending this, exclusively trading, so immediate gains aren't a necessity; I'm thinking on a timescale of 5+ years.
