Actually we got really close (4.47) but didn't reach it yet (4.49). I'm not sure why the fuck everyone is crying about flags and not making celebratory threads, this is HUGE. Which fucking coin can say they're about to break ATH in this fucking period of the year?

So, idiot question here.

How does it work when you buy / sell stocks that have charts displayed with 15 mins of latency or more on a web exchange?
Are the bid / ask always up to date while only the chart has latency? That doesn't sound possible. So you basically just have to guess the price and hope it goes over?

It's not like Bezos is on a sinking ship, he can live extremely comfortably and don't really need the extra money. Why would he dump his stock and risk losing control over what he has built so far? There's so much more to do. Amazon doesn't even have a proper foothold in China yet. There's still competition in India. Whole Foods have barely expanded outside the US. Bezos is even in the space race with Elon.

I'mma tell you something else about your generation. This is my theory. My theory is that your generation was fucked because of a shift in educational theory.

In prior generations Logic was taught formally in grade schools. "Mind your p's and q's" is a reference to the terms 'p' and 'q' which is traditional nomenclature in propositional (mathematical) logic.

Something happened, I don't know when- between the 1950s and the 1980s, Logic was sort of moved out of the classrooms. I do not know why. I have a few ideas.

Logic was rolled into mathematics departments and was viewed as the same thing. Maybe it was considered too abstract to teach kids. My personal theory is that adults didn't like it.

A kid with training in Logic, imagine, cannot be bullshitted. In some sense I think compulsory schooling is, in many places around the world, just brainwashing of a sort. They don't want you questioning the cultural and social assumptions. Too many adults complained to school boards because their kids stopped believing their bullshit. Religious schools, in particular, you can see this being a problem.

The problem is without logic training, you're literally making it hard or impossible to evaluate anything critically. This anti-logic shift damaged every generation since, who are graduating from primary school largely without good reasoning abilities. Moreover, they were traumatized by a system which forced them to learn things without knowing how to properly thinking about things.

90% of the torpor of the Millennial generation is a consequence of being force-fed schooling without being given even the basic means of making the experience useful. Instead schools are an industrial sorting mechanism which is selecting for attributes useful to a machinelike economy, treating brains as minable resources instead of developable capacity.

Luckily, textbooks on Logic remain in the dusty halls of libraries and you can in fact master this ancient discipline.

Nah. Green Thursday and Friday going in to G20. If positive news or no news about trade negotiations, green Monday. Bad news bloody Monday.

Unfortunately it appears SPY to 300 end of June prediction is off the table. Didn't quite get the news kick in the ass required or the confirmed rate cut to make it.
