I wrote it out and realized that going to a spa for general upkeep, waxing/teeth whitening/tanning/etc was going to push it into the $500 range a month, so I learned to do most of that stuff at home myself
Also realized that I was spending over $50 a night on those weekday happyhour/dinner outings so we go home with a 6 pack and I learned how to grill myself
>For whatever reason, if I start spending money on something, I find a way to just do it myself.
Everything else is a chore: shopping, getting the clothes altered, buying electronics, gym, grocery store.
The only thing I spend money on that is 'fun' is Holiday house parties from Halloween to Christmas, Cheese boards can cost up to $200 plus the mixed drinks. I also do a lot of weekend lake trips during the summer but its hardly expensive, a case of beer and a 3 hour jetski rental lol

Last year I was making 97k and had a ton of CC debt
This year I'm making 130k with a different company and am debt free! Trying to save aggressively and have an emergency fund before I start investing in anything other than my 401k.

I'm a daytrader, so minutes to hours. I mostly just trade price action on 5 minute charts with varying degrees of success. I work full time now so it's harder to find opportunities since I'm away for the NY session, so yeah, I'll have to look into swing trading options

It seems to me most successful traders tend to be swing traders
