More on BASED: It's essentially a permisionless stablecoin based on Ampleforth without the governance. It's presented as a DeFi game of chicken but it seems to have been created by people core to the industry, maybe even Ethereum devs, considering the people in on it when the initial staking pool opened (industry people, not the reddit and 4chan crowd). Because the devs are anonymous, if it goes belly up, no harm no foul, it was all a scammy ponzi game...but if it actually succeeds it'll solve some big problems in the space. This asset will surprise a lot of people. It's probably one of the safest bets among extremely unsafe gambling bets in DeFi.
