Just bought Monero, what am I in for?

Imagine a future where crypto became adopted, and all governmental and private institutions started using it.

Now imagine one day a guy recieves $10,000,000 worth of Monero and deposits it into his wallet.

What can the IRS or any other legal body do to know where that money came from or what did that random guy do to earn it? Nothing.
For all they know it could be money laundering. Best they could do is tax it, they can't freeze it because there's literally nothing to investigate.


This is the future of crypto. Monero will always exist if crypto gets adopted. Any legislative body or government is scared shitless of this, and will subsequently do everything in their power to stop it, thus, destroying crypto forever.

Seems based enough to me. Privacy currencies are the best long-term investment.

They're coming down HARD on crypto in a few months, but not in a direct way. FedCoin will be a centralized combination of BTC/ETH that does it faster and makes the normies feel safer. Anonymity will be the one thing it lacks. Anonymity is EVERYTHING.
