Anyone who thinks we can pull that off in <current year> is absolutely delusional. Even assuming that we didn't have 1/4 china's population, an obliterated industrial base, 30+ year old military equipment, and nonexistent national unity, then the current debt to GDP alone would make war infeasible. We financed WWI and WWII by taking on massive debt, but today we're already at 130% debt to GDP. Adding a world war on top of that would bankrupt the country to the point of collapse. The game was rigged from the start.
