i was telling my older brother about chainlink in february of 2018, he would sometimes drive me to work and i'd be telling him to buy link but he wasnt too interested in the crypto market because his only experience with it was buying a pump and dump and getting fucked.

fast forward a couple years he kind of regretted not buying any, he missed the 2020-2021 bull run and that was on his mind too. and in the tail end of the latest bull run in about november of last year some guy called in to his job for an issue he was having unrelated to crypto. but the guy was a californian normie who in the middle of talking about his issue claimed he was making it big on crypto.com and had a fuckload of Cro and passive income from the site and was telling my brother to get into the crypto market. this was the final push he needed, a crazy californian. so after having a hard time and finally setting up a coinbase account instead of buying btc or eth or link he proceeded to buy Doge after the doge bubble had already popped. his reasoning? it was cheap.


it was higher marketcap than chainlink at that time and i explained it to him that in a sense link was cheaper than doge but he didn't care and was like "Yeah I can only buy a small amount of chainlink. But if I buy Doge I will have thousands of them." he didn't know about shiba inu at this time. but a day or two went buy and he kept marveling about how much Doge he had. so i graduated him on and said "you think that's cool? Check coinbase... Check out Shiba Inu. This is what you're looking for" and he was fucking floored by how cheap shib was. he quickly sold all of his doge for shib and he started buying even more a couple of times a week. he'd laugh and be like "IMAGINE IF THIS SHIT WENT TO EVEN $1 LOL!!!!" after a few months he sold it but he still watches the shib charts from time to time, gives 0 fuck about link.
