I have a currency converter account and I've recently made a little bit of monies from exchanging bitcoin to USD. I got a taste for trading. How do I start an investment account without a broker or intermediate? I have less than $500. I work in tech and would like to invest in companies I think will do well in the new year. What platform do I use?

I'm a 27 year old Austrian neet and have about 90.000€ saved up.
I don't plan any significant expenses in the near future so I figured I should finally look into how to invest a good portion of it.
Although I have a basic understanding of the matter, I still don't feel comfortable enough to just go ahead and do it on my own.

Maybe you could give me some tips or ideas or recommend/link me some unbiased sources on the matter?

because its a zero sum game, there is no edge the market is random.

corporations/banks do not seculate on those market fot that reasons, they just use it to hedge their real (physical assets) thats it.

Hey /biz/ I'm currently in a crisis.

>Family is dirt poor
>going to Community College (majoring in engineering science)
>Plan on transferring to Rutgers or NJIT (in-state)

Is this the best way to go to secure financial success for my family? Should i major in accounting and get out in 2 years/find a job/get certifications or should i go the engineering route and study hard and do really good? it would be 4 years until i would even be making >50k.

Dumb question here, Google doesn't help.

How does an ETF get additional funding after their IPO?

Mutual funds get constant influx of money from their investors so they have no problem with widening or adjusting the portfolio, but how does an ETF do it?

What should I do, /biz/? I'm working my first real full-time job ever. My employer is going to let someone go after new year. It might be me. By that time I won't even have a full year of experience.

I could

A) Stick around and gather more real experience, so my cv doesn't look dumb, but then I might get fired.

B) Look for new employment right now, but then I will only have a few months of real work experience from my first job. Do I want to build a reputation as someone who doesn't stick around?

Give me you wisdom, /biz/
