Can someone explain to me the tax consequences of investing in stocks as a leaf? From what I understand, we get taxed on our gains to the amount of 50% of income tax. So if I make 80k a year from my wageslave I'd pay ~16% on my gains that I lock in?
We do have TFSA, but dividend stocks get taxed right?
