I don’t know if your still here anon, but this is a reply to your safe question.

Safes slow the bugler down and should be your last line of defence to deter stealing. In the Europe at least we have safes that can be insured up to €5000. Example is pic related: De Raat PT series. It also mildly fire retardant, if properly bolted to the concrete floor it is very hard to remove.

Your first lines of defence should be an alarm system and good locks, imagine finding and trying cracking a safe when alarm sirens are going off. Only an insider would know where your safe is, so keep your mouth shut about PM’s outside of /biz/.

Another anon mentioned decoy safes, good idea. Remember to put I a few missable valuables inside (1 kg copper bars, ugly tarnished silver rounds with no numismatic value, some cash etc.), so if a burglar finds your decoy safe, he will get a dopamine hit (wohoe reward), and leave your home thinking he had a big score.
