brainlet here, I have a technical question about chainlink. I'll try to keep things as concise as possible.

Are chainlinks going to be limited by "API" options? As of now there are like "10" chainlinks available, or whatever. It's not going to be to where you can just pull data from anywhere you want?

Say I want to supply temperature data for my local region. I don't want to use weather.com or the local news or any of that, I want to physically run my node data from a thermometer in my back yard. Is this possible? Or do I HAVE to have an API already?
