1935 is the first year of minting. Most expensive are 1936 and... 1948 i think.
Cheapest year is generally 1965. (1964 is sometimes cheaper but no canoe.)

I started young. I prefer the geese myself. I probably have as many geese as I have canoes. The canoe is still very satisfying. It's in the logo for the Canadian Numismatic Association.
