Thoughts on mining ZCash or ETH? I got a shitty rig setup using an old machine that was in storage and I set it up to headless mine and I'm throwing it in a closet to forget about it. It seems like I could mine either Ethereum or ZCash easily with it. ETH I'm getting about 11.5 Mh/s which works out to around 0.044 ETH per month (7.24$ power cost), but ZCash I can get around 0.1442 ZEC per month for $9.61 power cost.

It looks like ZCash is the better target if I just set it goin to my Binance address and leave it alone in the closet for a while, then use the ZCash to trade up for some alt-coins, but ETH seems like it has a better chance of actually going somewhere in value.

Has anybody invested in ZCash? It has a good sounding concept and it's pretty old already compared to these new p&d shitcoins. It has gained about 15% today but I'm wondering why because other coins have gained today and most of them are shit.

Zcash has been a consistently stable altcoin without much hype and fud to fluctuate its price so I'm thinking about putting some of my btc in it until the fork is over. Is this strategy safe or plain retarded?
