I've got several months worth of food, I stocked up back in January. All good for 10 years of storage minimum (supposedly 30 years on the rice but I figure after year 8 it's time to crack it open and just buy some more to store). What I don't have is several months worth of drinking water. I need to get a filter system since luckily I do live next to plenty of fresh water sources, just not treated.

Here's the true financial/resource security checklist to make it:
>3 months of food (you may want 9 months if you live further north and only have a limited growing period)
>3 months of water (and a filter system)
>guns: rifles, handguns, shotguns
>ammo for the above
>gold and silver coins (for bribes as necessary)
>enough cash to see you from where you are now to the nearest national border without using a credit card
>crypto in a wallet you've memorized the seed phrase for so that it can't be confiscated from you (ie, when you bribe to get across the border and the guards decide to take everything but the shirt off your back)
>arable land with a water source
>plenty of spare seeds
>a generator and plenty of backup fuel
>solar cells and a battery storage system
>satellite internet antenna
>bunker with escape tunnel in case of ATF shenanigans

You'll also want to do strength training and hand to hand combat training (also marksmanship training). It's a lot easier than you'd think to kill someone with your bare hands if you intend to do so, much of sports training is to AVOID accidentally killing someone.

Once you have all these things you can escape feelings of financial insecurity.
