Wow, Canada sure is progressive with their decision to sell all their gold (and future gold)! Stunning and brave!

>Anybody questioning BTC is getting downvoted now.
>By contrast, I saw an upvoted comment about a week ago where somebody was whining that he would never buy mining stocks, because "He'd be down 40% within a week; been there, done that." Sentiment never higher for Bitcoin, never lower for mining stocks.
Something tells me we're going to see a big surge in new anons here at /pmg/ screaming about where to buy precious metals and which mining companies to invest in

Yeah they're kinda dumb
They don't understand that precious metals are worthless if they never buy anything with them.. which goes for all metals
I, on the other hand, am stacking for several reasons:
>1. To get through the next 10 years of really bad recession without going broke like everyone else with no savings will
>2. To save up for retirement
>3. To pass on my wealth for when I eventually have kids
But when the great depression that's coming up is nearing its end I'll sell probably half of it so I can buy stocks and land that will skyrocket when the economy recovers.
And then when I get a bunch of extra money from my investments I'll buy more gold and start hording it again
Once I retire I'll hopefully have enough to live quite comfortably and some leftover to pass on to my sons (daughters won't get shit they'll just waste it)

Just buying bullion with no intention of ever buying other things with it is kinda retarded desu

trips of confideance

are you going binary?

I started last week with $10 and now I have $200 by playing the stonker, but first was mere luck as I bought it all in gold because it "was fancy"... spend 15 in a meal, but now I think I should get serious, so I put 60 in silver yesterday and feeling good.

Actual lemmings are already strapped for cash living paycheck to paycheck and will blow their donald dollars on supplies that we bought over a month ago. I don't think normies are even thinking about metals right now since no mainstream source has commented on the supply shock. Every boomer has been balls deep in the market forever and just found out its a trap. I'm betting on autism because internet racists have absolutely dominated every play since the moment coronachan hit.

That is my hope. If it moons in my lifetime, I’ll take a portion to buy a large piece of property and build multiple homes for them and their future families. If it doesn’t moon, they’ll get the whole stack (including gold) to give them financial peace of mind.

You may be able to find bars with less premium than rounds, but it can be more difficult to find a buyer for the bars later (especially if silver price moons).

If silver goes to $1,000/oz. it will be easier to find a buyer for 1oz. round vs. finding a buyer for a 100oz. bar.
