I am overqualified for the position I hold. I have the abilities and skills to do my bosses job. The only thing I Beyond running my own business, I didn't have other experience doing the job I am vying for. I also talked about the different philosophy I had about the companies missions/goals and how to achieve them in a manner that wasn't favorable in this type of cut throat environment. After 2 hours of conversating, where I could tell my superior was getting annoyed at my curiosity for the position and how it is I am breaking the faux paus of corporate culture. But again, fuck em, because me and my superior came to a compromise that allowed us to continue forward with a attainable goal and if done in the manner I say I can do it; they see no need to hinder my career path. There is a bottleneck though which was a hard pill to swallow. But I know what I need to do in order to be considered a 'company man'. I will see in 4 weeks whether I have moved the needle.
