Ask yourself this wagies:

You work eight straight hours. You had to wake up an hour before work to get ready and drive there. It’ll take you thirty more minutes after your shift ends just to be home when you account for driving, actually getting ooff your shift on time (you won’t), getting out of the building etc. You get home and are exhausted. Some of you brave soldiers fight through the exhaustion and manage to go to the gym. Your joints ache like all the other wagies, even wagies with comfortable jobs still have sore joints and headaches when they get home. You’re too tired to even speak to your family members, if you’re lucky enough to have them. On the off chance you ever have the energy and want to do something spontaneous, you can’t, because you’re chained to your workplace loke a slave. Life passed you by day by day, you spent hours around people you see daily but are still total strangers, you spent hours in a totalitarian institution, where you can’t evem say what you want, you can’t have normal human social connections, you are shuffled from task to task and are stressed and have to dress a certain way and aren’t allowed to say almost anything interesting or fun.

Was it worth it? When the paycheck hits your bank account every two weeks, was it worth the physical toll you put on your body? To buy the latest new gizmo and gadget you’ll be too tired and stressed out to use anyway?

You are a slave to your boss. You are giving your life to your boss and his company. Was it worth it, wagie? Eight, nine, ten, eleven hours daily for years on end, until your body is so decrepit you simply can’t go on anymore? Was it really worth it?
