A *permanent* default will never happen, sure. At least not anytime soon. BUT. What if it takes a few days for Biden to step in. Or a week. Or he steps in but it's contested in court and it remains ambiguous. Those days or weeks will be absolute chaos the likes of which have not been seen since '08. And it won't get much better afterwards.

GloFo just did an IPO recently so that's certainly an option. INTC isn't half bad way to play it either though begging on their knees for gov gibs does not inspire confidence.
