Zoomer here feeling salty that boomer dad is talking about his gains in the market while I'm stuck in crypto and bagholding to oblivion.

I've tried options before and I tend to lose, thinking it's more of a gamble than buying shares or a stock and hodling. Am I doing it wrong or is that the way it is? I find it no different than margin trading on crypto.

Also I want to get into the stock market since I know ridiculous insta gains gain be earned than waiting for crypto pump. Any advice on the best place to begin? I'm generally impatient by how slow this market is but if you do options it's fast and I like that, but more risky.

im not being an ultra jew and living so scantily as to not be in a healthy style of living. I actually go out and exercise, make my own food, and this is ironically cheaper anyways so it's not a problem for me. The only end goal I have to spend my money is for solid assets like a home which I'm waiting for the boomers to fucking kys so I can finally get one in this shitty country for a reasonable amount.
You know in 2008 you could have been rich as fuck if you bought a bunch of property that was foreclosed because of the economic crisis? I'm waiting for that moment and not spending my money recklessly
