-Trying to, just like every other industry understaffing is a huge problem. Mainly young guys fresh out of HS/college who like the pay, Mexicans of questionable citizenship status, and sketchy/druggie folks. Not a lot of reliable help but I have a few regular guys whom I lay off in the winter.

-Truthfully, being so rural most people who I've worked with prior to owning a business/worked with since I started a business are field taught. The one person who did a concrete "course" was one of the worse ones.

-Strata, Aggregate Industries, and local mom and pop plants.

-Yes, trying to book Aggregate is impossible because they are always pouring infrastructure. Freeways mainly. Can't even get them if I'm pouring 100+ yards. Used Strata when I hired on as sub for a 650 yd hopper bin slab, and that was on contract. Most of what I do is smaller, residential projects and that is facilitated through smaller batch plants.

If you are looking for investment, I saw Cemex trucks all over the Southwest when I was visiting and there is a ton of development. They are publicly traded. No big upside but they're up every year.

I will gladly eat my words if this thing squeezes. I have a price alert set on this if it goes above 1.50 again, but until a 10Q gets filed I'm not gonna sniff hopium that shorts can't kite around until they dilute.

We'll see.
