Do you honestly think traders just sits there looking at charts all day, every day? You find the company you like (or index, I love trading the NQ for example) and you trade patterns/levels. When you're finally in a position you have your stop loss ready and let it run.
This is for example my current trade that is happening right now, higher red line is my entry and the lower red line is my current stop loss. If the SL hits I make money or if price keeps dropping I make even more money, I can just play games now if I want to. You trade levels because you believe they will make price bounce the other way, so place your orders for the day and move your stop loss if price bounces.. that's literally all you do.

I think you watched too many movies or something
