always feel like this market is fake and gay when stocks are down and so is the VIX.
it's like yeah, we're selling off.
but there isn't any "panic" because we were pretty overbought on the AI bubble and already at extreme greed on the sentiment index.
so basically, this was already priced in, and bears probably aren't gonna be able to squeeze much gamma out of this price action.
and then there's bitcoin: rallying on powell's comments earlier today.
proving that it can be, at certain times, an uncorrelated asset class.
