All they understand how to think in is the US dollar. That's how tightly the fed has its fingers around zoomer throats. When the the US treasury can't export its debt at will to prop up the money creation anymore, the meaning of a "dollar" becomes pointless.

What you call a "premium" was really just the market rate all along. 5 years ago, I could get a soft taco for 99 cents at Taco Bell and now they're 2 dollars. I'm paying a 100% premium for the soft taco too. That's what inflation does.
