I “only” had 25% of my net worth in crypto at ATH (now <10%). I almost have $1MM at 24 yo and money hasn’t made me happy in and by itself. Money has just made life slightly easier, i.e. I can buy a new phone/laptop/clothes, go out for dinner or go on vacation without worrying too much about money. My sister who’s a broke college student is living a happier life than me: she has a lot more friends, goes out a lot, has less mental problems and is really healthy. I’m working on improving my life though.. If you live your life in misery thinking that that everything will be okay once you make it, then you’re in for a rude awakening.

i graduated from a fairly prestigious school and received a scholarship that left me with close to zero debt, which has now been nearly paid off less than a year out of college. i also worked my ass off in college. graduated summa cum laude, near-perfect GPA, strong recommendations from professors. i told my parents i would pursue a phd or at least a master's afterwards, but right now i'm taking a year off, not working a real job, living off of crypto gains from 2017, and honestly-- have no desire to anything else. seriously. i wish life could go on like this forever
