I’m locked out of my own apartment because they decided to install some trash IoT device for my doorknob called “SmartRent” and the fucker malfunctioned just like you’d expect.

Already talked to my building apartment’s leasing office shits and they contacted maintainence… they haven’t shown up yet and I fucking have shit to do on monday.

They had floated the idea of just breaking the door down, and maintainence hasn’t shown up yet, so I think I’m literally going to have to go buy and axe and do this shit myself.

I’m going to document that the shit’s broken beforehand to cover my ass, and might end up having to buy a new door.
