God and order go hand in hand. As that is how God made things, with order. After all He made Man to have dominion over the over material things. He made an institution in the old testament, and made a better one in the new (the mystical body of Christ).

The problems in the Church go back far. Unfortunately the Church despite being the Divine Institution is not a perfect society. There have always been Judas's and Simon magus's.

But we ought not to let that scandalise us and become a stumbling block to our salvation. Hence why I told OP to learn the difference between vatican 2 and traditional Catholic. The distinction can save your soul.
