True, CBs are moving towards gold. But I doubt they would bind a currency to gold at this point, it just limits them. I think they will just keep using their own currencies while stacking gold. Gold price and reserves will rise over time giving gold more and more power in the global financial system and at some point parties will starting using it to trade because it has become such a large and stable asset class.

Anarchocapitalism is also just a pipedream in the foreseeable future. What matters is the genetic makeup of the people who live in the country and the elite who controls media, education etc. No advanced civilization has adopted anarchocapitalism. You can have it in Africa though, but it doesn't seem to work very well there for some reason. Changing the ethnic makeup of a country is much more likely something that can be changed. Through immigration and for a country like the US, balkanization is probably going to happen at some point. That is what should be focused on accelerating and making the best of.
