>Extremely common here in the states,
I know, but it's still utterly retarded! Currently, I'm at a 10 minute bike commute, so compared to an hour by car, it's insane how much time and money yo lose with car commuting!
Hour by train would be OK-ish, could use that time productively (i.e. for shitposting), but everything that has good public transport connection is about as expensive as city center, if not more so.
Oh well, guess it's pod live for me. At least I get /out/ regularly, so I'm better off than most. Plus, should the doomsday prophets be right, I'm gonna win bigly, so there's that.

>oh man that looks like a PERFECT gold trap, nice hard bedrock, and its packed with gravels.
Yeah, looks really great, but apparently, there's not too much gold in that creek. Oh well, I hope I can dig, or rather scrape, around some more. I'll keep this general updated. Worst outcome is spending some hours at an absolutely fantastic spot, so I'll win anyways.

that'd be very interesting, but I'm afraid I'm not gonna waste my money on that. Oddly enough, for those spots I got it from, I don't know about any scientific work on that gold. Was never really commercially mined, but there was some mines way upstream where there's some old mineralogy literature. It's all on my todo list if I ever got too much time on my hands. No new work done, since it's not commercially viable. Kinda low key working on some scientific paper about it right now, let's see if I make something of it. Probably gotta decide soon, If i do it, I put my panning equipment on my tax returns as work expense.

It's all so tiring. I just wanna go to that comfy spot and pan me some gold.

>placer gold from Cunningham creek2019.jpg
Damn. Is that from sluice/highbanker cons or is that just a "normal" pan?
Is that the Cunningham creek you mentioned as an example a while ago when I was digging around in pic related? However, when I search for it, I only find this Cunningham creek, which appears to be on paleochannels
https://bcgoldadventures.com/cunningham-creek/
and about a dozen Cunningham creeks all around the Anglosphere. Anglos really seem to be obsessed with cunny…
