I am pretty sure I'm the only person on this board who understands how this works. It's a decent experiment and probably the only AI CRYPTO project that is not a total joke (something with just AI added to the name in order to pump price)
It's important to understand that this does not need to be a blockchain, the only reason for this to be a decentralized chain is to make the reward currency have value, this whole project would work better as a centralized thing but if it was centralized it would have no value and therefore defeat the purpose of having people compete to make the best AI.

So how does this shit work, basically it consists of multiple Subtensor for ML models. Say you have one for just text generation modes, if you make the best one that solves the consensus models challenge the best, you get the block reward. It's pretty cool and a bit similar to NMR but for AI.
But, there is some bad, for example Tokenomics are just a copy and paste from bitcoin. They also had a few issues in the past such as an instance of miner collusion where the team had to decrease rewards by 90% though centralized action.

Yikes
ALPH can't have more than 32 shards due to shitty sharding design and the Block time of currently 64 seconds, resulting in having to wait over one (1.2 or 1.5) hour to ensure that your tx is secure, they will try to halve this time. Running a full node on Alephium might require handling data from all shards. This is because each node needs to maintain connections with other shards for consistency, as indicated by the need to keep track of 2G - 1 other shards.
