you don't need much critical thinking being nurse. it's 100% memorization and experience. Once you get used to certain scenarios it is all the same. In example heart failure: fluid restrictions, lasix, cardiac monitoring, oxygen and metoprolol. Sepsis: vancomycin, rocephine and 1000 ml normal saline bolus plus cardiac monitoring. Covid oxygen, remdecivir, isolation, dexamathosone, steroids, duoneb. It only gets hard because of the stressful environment plus the heavy workload.
