OP, since I don't know much about stock trading (I'm more of a real estate guy), let's say I put $100k into a trading account.

Can I enter a selling position as you have without actually owning any bitcoin?

If so, and if I leverage it the way you did, at what price would it have to go up in order for me to get liquidated or lose all my cash assuming I have $100k in my account?
