Twas a time. I unironically bought my house in part thanks to Link.

The one time /biz/ was actually right. And it was glorious. 5 grand to 400k. I mean holy fucking shit.

Actually I couldn't find that specific cafe istanbul. I had to find it by searching for a dry cleaner that matched the number. Then I narrowed it down to a few places before I found the matching cafe istanbul next to it

Looking into buying a 2-3 unit multifamily in a renter-heavy market.

Housing is relatively flat here but rents are way up. This neighborhood in particular is 75-80% white, median income well over 100k, and roughly 75% renters. I'd likely also be renting to friends, at least initially. Anyone have insight?

Condo Owner, so not exactly a homeowner yet. I bought my condo in a city in the depths of the pandemic when everyone was fleeing for the burbs and got an unbelievably good price/rate.

Now prices have long since normalized, and rates are way up. But I have a lot of new equity in aforementioned condo - I bought for 180k at a 3.7% rate in 2020, and another condo with the *exact* same layout and a relatively similar floor level sold for 350k a few weeks ago (It was listed at 330k so it went for over asking). If I can get a similar deal right now, that leaves me with about 200k to play with (less taxes/fees).

I want to potentially roll that into a multifamily building in the same city, in a safe area with decent schools obviously. It would likely be a 2-3 unit building, target purchase price anywhere from 500k (unlikely) to 1m (more likely).

Has anyone ever been a landlord before? Any tips for small-time landlording? Is this even a good idea given my interest rate will double?

I have been working remote from my college town for two years now and saved up 112k. Should I
>move home with parents
>move to city my job is based in
>move to another city in the US
>move abroad

I own two vending machines inside college bars bars largely centered around selling vapes

You can generally get around the ID verification requirement if you locate in a strictly 21+ establishment
