That's fake. The video has been digitally edited to make it look like the cat is dancing, it's not really dancing.

No ex-post facto tax is needed. It would be a "windfall tax" on precious metal capital gains to "discourage hoarding" that would otherwise harm the "real economy".

You can try to selling small amounts via the black market but good luck liquidating metal to buy a house or anything. Even if you trade the metal for the house directly, Uncle Schlomo is going to want his 95%. The only winning move in this case would be to hold the metal for longer than the government survives in its current form.

When regulations come XMR will be the only coin left standing with its full autonomy, privacy and dignity left intact. It will inevitably be exiled from centralized exchanges, yes. And when that happens this will be a mark of honor, it will be how we know XMR is truly legit, because the (((regulators))) only tolerate coins that they can track and control.

The exile will hurt the market price temporarily, and scare away normies. But XMR will define itself as a hedge to the entire centralized system of control. All of the capital that seeks to escape that system will flow to XMR. Think of the Panama Papers, think of how many people of means don't give a shit about regulations and will hide whatever they can get away with hiding. XMR is waiting for those people to discover it, and when the time is right it will moon hard. And (((they))) won't be able to do anything about this flow except to wring their hands and publish "muh crimecoin" propaganda.

If you don't yet see the value of XMR you need to think bigger. Think outside the system, and beyond its death throes. True fungibility is an unimportant quality in a coin... until suddenly it's everything.
