I’ve just gotten to a point where I have completed building my emergency fund in my bank and have started putting aside money I won’t need to touch in a crisis. I want to put this extra cash in an index and keep it there, but a for /biz/bros, is it better to wait till an inevitable correction/crash before piling it in? The S&P is near its ATH. I know over a period of 10 years+ it’s not really going to matter, but id like the investment to have a decent starting point.
