Dubya presented himself as just another fake puppet establishment politician, so the left treated him as just another 'bad Republican who's probably racist', the same way they've treated Republicans/conservatives for decades
Then Trump came in out of nowhere, boldly said a bunch of things that were interpreted as racist/sexist/otherwise problematic, and also basically waged war against liberal media. Trump was unlike any other US presidential hopeful in modern history; he took all of the Republican stereotypes and cranked them up to 11. Plus in the eyes of libs, he "stole" the election from what was supposed to be the first female US president. So it's no wonder they treat him like the Antichrist compared to Dubya
