oh, and as for OpenCL and CUDA - I would suggest researching online for how to enable them ONLY IF you want to do it as a learning exercise. Otherwise, GPU mining Monero does not make much sense as the algorithm is optimized for CPU mining and your hashrate will be incredibly low.

In the EARLY part of the 90's, there was still some room left for competitors to Wintel and Apple. Windows 95 was kind of the nail in the coffin for that market. High-end workstations like Sun, DEC, SGI survived a big longer.
