but with a good point, that if you compare the average annual increase in the price of gold (10%) with what the Chapwood Index shows as annual inflation (10%), you get a pretty perfection correlation. No way that's a coincidence.

You also see that silver has performed slightly better than gold at ~12.5% but with higher volatility. These graphs are honestly what any beginner PM investor needs to look at.
