The reason why men "buckle down" is because they buy homes and start families.

When you price an entire generation out of home ownership to a point where none of them are starting families, there is no motivation for self sacrifice and hard work. That comes with a societal deal that is currently broken for young men. Men are suppose to work hard and build the world, in exchange for becoming providers to the ones they love. When they cannot fulfill that role, many just simply drift through time without a greater purpose than themselves.

Mass immigration paired with the commodification of assets tied to basic living standards ruined the west.

I have about 3-6 months pay if I only buy essentials, but then again I also dont commute now so it could be more.

I just walked put of my job today. My factory of 500 employees have been "putting together a plan" on how to deal with C19 for a month now. It was still mandatory for everyone to come in even though office employees have 100% remote capability and there is evidence of community spread in the surrounding counties workers commute from. Fuck this I'm not dying or risking killing my family for my CEOs checkbook.
