What the fuck caused everything all across the board to tank in unison at like 4am?? How many times can massive companies that produce useful products dump 2-5% a day? At this point it's just as nonsensical as all the exuberant buying in 2020, we've seen like 8 fucking months of red.

At this point I think that we're just staying red because of all the retards who went short earlier this year and now all the leverage to the downside is fucking everything up. Bunch of cynical fucking assholes.

Looking at SOXL and semiconductors, I'm not even mad at this point, I'm confused. Seriously, what the fuck is going on? Why are massive companies that produce a product that the entire planet uses (as evidenced by their tens of billions in sales every year) selling off 4% essentially every fucking day? I don't even think you can argue that they're "overpriced" according to P/E anymore, especially considering how far prices have come down in 2022 compared to the actual business the companies are doing. I just don't understand who even has their finger on the "sell semiconductors" button anymore. My theory is that all of this continuous red across the board is mainly happening because of people with a shit ton of short leverage forcing prices down but I have no data to back that up.

This is such incredible fucking bullshit. We spend 8 fucking months dumping relentlessly because.....why? Billions and billions of dollars just evaporating because of spooky headlines and statistics changing by tenths of a percent? I guess Big Money just thinks the world is fucking ending, right? I don't believe it at all, they're just going to pump it even harder eventually. I just don't get why they keep playing this selloff game, they're the only ones playing so what's the fucking point of making it go down instead of up?

The thing that I hate about all this Roe v Wade bullshit is that it really makes it obvious how many people don't understand how their country works at all. All the dumb wokeoids saying "the Supreme Court is so useless!!" just plainly don't get that the Supreme Court only decided that previous case law wasn't constitutional, they didn't make some overarching ruling on abortion. If some ding dong can whip up a constitutionally sound argument for why the federal government should guarantee abortion access then they'd rule in favor of it, otherwise it's just up to states like, y'know, everything else

Yo what the absolute fuck happened overnight? Seriously, futures gapping down like 2 fucking percent on NO NEWS? Because of a speech that hasn't even fucking happened yet? Fuck bears your shit doesn't even make sense. I'm not saying that 2020-2021 made sense either but goddamn

I just don't get it. Why the fuck did things dump today and Friday after literally 8 weeks of red, in a 6+ month downtrend? Seriously, who the fuck is still selling? Retail doesn't move the market, Big Money can literally pick which direction they want the market to move and make it happen. Why do they want it to continuously sell off? I refuse to believe that Nancy Pelosi would buy millions of dollars worth of Big Tech calls if this was the edge of the cliff.

Someone try to convince me that this isn't literally the best buying opportunity of our lifetimes, aside from the 2020 bottom.

Guys you can't be this retarded, right?? Where are the smart /smg/ posters? We're just crabbing around the bottom of the next decade and people here are unironically STILL talking about selling. Fuck man.

How many of you dumb asses literally thought this was the end? That we would have another February/March 2020? Jesus it's like you haven't been paying attention at all. No one gives a fuck about bond yields right now, the big money just pushed a bunch of doom and gloom out to scare retail into selling. Every time it looks like retail is actually going to make a decent buck, they pull the rug. Stop playing into it.

So if Trump having corona can't tank the market, and congress not passing stimulus can't tank the market, and the election coming up can't tank the market, what the fuck can? Are we truly going to just keep going up, or at least tech?

Sooo what the fuck is going on with this market? Suddenly household names are just not worth the prices people were paying for them a few weeks ago? Suddenly tons of completely unrelated sectors all tank at the exact same time? It really seems like there's no way to win right now unless you're a day trader and can capitalize on inverses like UVXY and SQQQ, which I'm not fucking touching because in a matter of hours they can pull a hardcore reversal and just shit the bed [and waste a day trade].

I mean seriously fuck this shit, it really does feel like you can't win unless you already have $25k+ to literally gamble with

How is it possible that literally all of the EV stocks move in unison? TSLA, SOLO, WKHS, NIO, etc, all have identical lines today. Clearly some sort of insider trading or batshit algorithm garbage is going down. How is that even allowed, and why are people even selling when EVs have clear potential for growth?

I've tried pointing this out but no one will take me up on a conversation about it - practically every stock I have in my portfolio has obvious peaks around April 7th, April 29th, and June 5th, followed by a sharp decline, a smaller climb, then a crab until the next climb. I'm not claiming there has to be some pattern, but the same peaks and dips across all stocks seems less-than-random. Have there been events happening around these peaks? If the pattern continues, we're in the small upswing right now and it should be followed by some crabbing then another sharp upward climb

Honest question to anyone continuously shitting on stuff like IVR, SSL and AMPY: what makes you think you're smarter than the institutional investors? Do you have some information they don't have or are you just being a contrarian on 4chan? They've been buying up armloads of these companies over the last couple months and I'm almost 100% confident they aren't doing it to lose money
