Watched a documentary on Enron

Did you know they invented weather futures? As ridiculous as that sounds, people actually trade weather

>Ten years ago, the Enron Corporation sold the first weather futures, agreeing to pay a utility company $10,000 for each degree it fell below the average temperature during winter. But, after Enron's historic flameout in 2001, the weather-trading market slowed to a crawl. Then, trading in weather contracts jumped 100-fold between 2003 and 2007, according to the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. This was largely due to hedge funds, which are believed to comprise more than half of the $19 billion weather-futures market.

Stupid question guys...

Why would a company listed on multiple exchanges change by a different amount over and above the currency change for the day

RDSb was +1.8% in London and +4.93% in the US. Even when both were open they tended to track differently...

was this just a catch up from the last time they were open and will this equalise when London opens tomorrow?

What are the best sites to give a good overview of pre and post market movements?

My usual sites let me see them when I go into the actual stock, but it'll be good to see gainers/losers in one table like you can in the live market

Rigosertib is almost guaranteed for FDA approval once their Phase 3 INSPIRE trial concludes, so approval will hopefully occur this year. It will be the only drug in the world for high risk MDS following the failure of an HMA. Due to the grim outlook for those patients, it seems like they wouldn't have much to lose by being prescribe it. The drug has potentially billions in market cap. They also have several other studies going.

The reason why the share price is so low is because they have until June 1 to maintain a share price of 1.00 for 10 consecutive days, otherwise they risk being delisted from the NASDAQ. They won't actually get delisted on that date, though. They should be granted another 180 days to maintain the 10 day streak at 1.00. Regardless, the major indices are discussing putting a halt on delistings anyway due to COVID-19.

This stock is a risk, and the price reflects that. But this is a legitimate 10-bagger candidate. I could see them being bought out by BMY, whom they are already working with an a combo study with their oral Rigosertib. Maybe between 5 and 10 a share.

One thing that bothers me about the potential cryplets connection is the thought that Link has nothing to do with it. Is it possible that smartcontract.com may be working with Microsoft, but they are 2 separate things? Are they 2 separate networks that makes Link worthless as it relates to cryplets? Maybe smartcontract.com will make money by working with cryplets, but it will be separate from the value of Link. Not saying that the Chainlink network won't do well on its own, but maybe we shouldn't get so excited about the Microsoft connection.

Make two Eth purchases on Coinbase in last week. First one showed up immediately and funds were taken from bank account the next day. Made a purchase last Thursday and it is still pending. I used to use my credit card (paid off right away, just liked the instant transaction).

How long does this normally take?

Reknown hedge fund manager David Tepper admits he doesn't know much about cryptocurrencies, but says he would go for the one with the fastest tx speed.

He also says most of these coins have little to justify a market valuation higher than what it costs to mine them.
