>he thinks its just memes
the memes often sprung here have merits of truth or reality to them. why? try spout those same memes on a place like reddit or twitter. you'll basically be silenced and banned off the platforms for posting such "memes".

yes, that is why the entire Islamic golden age and the silk roads were built on gold standard
but I think you are talking about unsustainable growth, cancerous growth, like what we've had since the industrial revolution

>Race does not matter in the long run, only efficiency, and it will continuously improve. This is what you asked for.

interesting & true, albeit maybe sad. sometimes I reflect on the whole thing, and what I see is just continual data collection / monetization / technologification / bureaucratization - in all aspects of life. the world is continually 'disenchanted' via the hard sciences, and the applied sciences (e.g. engineering) are used as a means to manipulate the physical world and make a buck. sure, Pinker would say we're better off than we were 500 years ago, but something dark that I can't quite put my finger on comes out of all of this.

No, I literally don't. I don't fully understand what Jerome is doing and why it's a bad thing down the road. something something inflation? and put another way, obviously Jerome and the rest of (((them))) know the reprecussions of what they are doing, so either a) they think that what they're doing is the best alternative; b) they don't care and it's all about (((them))); c) some other shit I can't think of

I've thought about this but then I've thought of the whole "You can't time the market". I am sitting with 15k cash in my brokerage account and will most likely just DCA every 2 weeks or every month into the things I listed, with higher weight towards QQQ (safe bet) and lower weights towards SOXL, ARK mommy, etc.

I am unironically thinking of buying (or LOOKING to buy) a house within the next few months. It seems like quite the process - and the goal is to not get dicked. What did you learn when you bought a home that you didn't expect/think about? What advise can you give new homebuyers?

christ, so for the year I made $177.76 in realized gains.

>losers
(1) betting against TQQQ around the election. Lost $1k.
(2) betting against SPY around the election. Lost $300.
(3) various other dumb options plays, trying to figure out if TA works or not.

>winners
(1) bought then sold ARKG for 15% gains. obviously should have held
(2) bought then sold SOXL for 15% gains.
(3) bought 500 PLTR then sold covered calls on it. PLTR flew past my strike, so made about 30% on that.
(4) other various dumb options plays that did work.

TOP EIGHT REASONS TO VOTE UNABOMBER
Your presidential write-in choice for '24

1. THE BOYS. Clinton, Gingrich, Powell, Perot, Forbes, Dole, Gramm, Lugar, Alexander, Dornan, Keyes, etc.

2. HE'S HOT! His favorability ratings may be low, but his name recognition is close to 100%. We won't need to hype him--he's already hyped. A Unabomber write-in campaign can surf the media wave. He's the perfect imposter to undermine the presidential election process as it unfolds, and turn the fraudulent election process against itself.

3. THE VISION THING. "The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race." Regardless of what you think of the Unabomber and his analysis, the right issues are finally raised. Can you even conceive of any legitimate candidacy, election, or debate which will allow the real questions to be put on the table? We need to dish them out before they cool off...They're giving an election, but we can crash it and have our own referendum on corpo-technocracy. If the Unabomber put a hairline crack in the myth of progress, we should apply a wedge now--the Unabomber's fifteen seconds are just about up. But an election lasts a year. An anti-technological rallying point only came into being because of the criminal chase. There's not going to be another opportunity.

4. CRASH THE PARTIES. The election offers a "choice" once all the real decisions have been made. On top of being an anti-republicrat vote, the Unabomber campaign is a counterfoil to faux "populist" outsider-insiders like business magnate Ross Perot and Gulf warrior Colin Powell (a.k.a. the military-industrial complex.) The third party "alternative" is designed to safely channel voter alienation into a centrist, media-sanctioned agenda and immunize the system against real change.
